Split from #2 (QA checklist). Playwright smoke on the production build was explicitly deferred.

Scope

  • Run playwright install and npm run test:e2e in frontend/ as documented in docs/testing/strategy.md (UI-only routes/nav; no Anvil).

Exit

  • CI job playwright-e2e green on default branch, or documented waiver with owner sign-off.
