Split from #2. contracts/test/TimeCurveFork.t.sol no-ops unless FORK_URL is set; foundry.toml lists megaeth / megaeth_testnet RPC names.

Scope

Decide: manual runbook only vs optional scheduled job with secret RPC URL vs rate-limit policy.

Exit

Maintainer-approved approach documented in docs/testing/ or contract test comments; no flaky CI on default branch unless mitigated.

@brouie Please verify the optional MegaETH / RPC fork smoke fix (docs + contract-fork-smoke workflow, TimeCurveFork.t.sol unchanged in behavior; contracts/out-local-dev/ untracked). Latest work on main: commits 9a27d11 (issue #6 docs/workflow) and 2705a53 (follow-up: stop tracking build artifacts, inputs.fork_url, doc links). Leaving this issue open until you confirm.
