Summary

  • Replace warm amber/brown “glass” identity with cool navy/light surfaces, blue primary CTAs (#448aff), and gold brand/network accents (#e8b84a) across theme tokens, bootstrap, and chrome primitives (#488).
  • Promote circular blue+gold logo, favicons, and OG image into frontend-dapp/public/; keep trade-bootstrap.css aligned to avoid amber→blue FOUC.
  • Simplify limit place IA/copy (rate → pay → expiry; Docs links; keep blocking gates + risk ack) and update design-token checks, docs, and agent skills (companion docs issue #489).

Acceptance criteria

  • Dark/light cool blue surfaces — no brown/amber page fade as dominant identity
  • Blue/gold accents consistent (header CTAs, tabs/focus, gold network/brand)
  • Limit default place UI: “When 1 {token} is worth” + Pay + Expiry; instructional paragraphs removed from primary path
  • Shared chrome (header/footer/modals/buttons) on new system
  • Header logo + favicon + OG updated
  • trade-bootstrap.css matches hydrated theme
  • python3 scripts/check_design_tokens.py, make lint-frontend, affected unit tests updated/passing
  • Manual spot-check screenshots attached on #488 (+ docs/qa/issue-488/)

Test plan

  • Unit tests for design tokens, limit expiry/advanced/pre-submit, LimitOrdersPage, TradePage, onboarding strip
  • Local Vite screenshots (dark/light) for Swap, Limits, Trade, Pool, Charts, wallet modal, risk ack, header brand
  • CI make test-frontend / e2e-smoke design-tokens visual (LocalTerra optional for LCD-connected place card)
  • Hard-refresh /trade FOUC check when LocalTerra is up

Notes

  • Accent decision: blue CTAs (QuickSwap-true) + gold brand/network (concept board default).
  • Screenshots captured with LCD down → connectivity banners visible; chrome/brand still verify. Full images on the issue notes.
  • Broader docs/skills terminology sweep continues in #489.
